Das Unternehmen wurde in Svendborg unter dem Namen DanSupply ApS gegr\u00fcndet und heute wir bieten wir eine breite Auswahl an Produkten und Dienstleistungen an.<\/p>\n<p>Die d\u00e4nische Stadt Svendborg war schon immer\u00a0\u2013 zumindest seit dem Mittelalter\u00a0\u2013 eine maritime Stadt. Bis Ende der 1980er-Jahre waren in Svendborg etwa 250\u00a0K\u00fcstenmotorenschiffe gemeldet und auf der nahe liegenden Insel \u00c6r\u00f8 zudem etwa 200\u00a0K\u00fcstenmotorenschiffe.<\/p>\n<p>Mit rund 12\u00a0Reedereien in Svendborg und etwa 8\u00a0Reedereien auf der Insel \u00c6r\u00f8 waren die Fahrwasser in der Region um S\u00fcdf\u00fcnen in den 1980er- und 1990er-Jahren voll mit Schiffen. Seitdem haben wir unser Unternehmen jedoch weiterentwickelt, sodass wir heute ein Anbieter von Ankerketten, Ankern und medizinischer Ausr\u00fcstung f\u00fcr Schiffe sind.<\/p>\n<p>Ende der 1990er-Jahre hat die EU f\u00fcr den Umgang mit Arzneimitteln auf Schiffen neue Vorschriften festgelegt. Bis zu diesem Zeitpunkt hatten viele Schiffe nicht sonderlich auf ihre Arzneimittel an Bord geachtet und viele medizinische Produkte waren veraltet, wenn sie ben\u00f6tigt wurden.<\/p>\n<p>Aus diesem Grund entstand die Idee, eine Online-Datenbank zu entwickeln, mit deren Hilfe man einen \u00dcberblick \u00fcber den Verbrauch und die Ablaufdaten von Arzneimitteln erh\u00e4lt, sodass die Reederei und der jeweilige Kapit\u00e4n kritische Situationen vermeiden k\u00f6nnen, bei denen fehlende oder abgelaufene Arzneimittel f\u00fcr eine mangelhafte medizinische Behandlung verantwortlich sind. Diese beliefern nun einen Gro\u00dfteil der d\u00e4nischen Flotte und mithilfe unseres Arzneisystems stellen wir sicher, dass die Arzneikisten stets alle Vorgaben des jeweiligen Flaggenstaates des Schiffes erf\u00fcllen. Dies bedeutet, dass alle Arzneimittel und medizinischen Ger\u00e4te f\u00fcr beispielsweise d\u00e4nische Schiffe mit sowohl englischen als auch d\u00e4nischen Beschriftungen geliefert werden.<\/p>\n<p>Mitte der 1990er-Jahre nahm die K\u00fcstenmotorschifffahrt von Svendborg aus deutlich ab und dies hinterlie\u00df Spuren bei Unternehmen, die Schiffsversorgung anboten. Im Gegenzug entstand jedoch ein neuer Bedarf, denn wir konnten eine wachsende Nachfrage nach Ankerketten feststellen. Zu dieser Zeit waren Ankerketten ein besonders teures Produkt und es gab nicht viele Unternehmen, die Ankerketten auf Lager hatten.<\/p>\n<p>Deshalb sind wir nach China gereist, um Hersteller und Kooperationspartner zu finden, dank denen wir Anker und Ankerketten schneller und zugleich billiger verkaufen konnten. Wir haben einen einzigartigen Einblick in den Herstellungsprozess von Ankern und Ankerketten erhalten und hieraus ein Gesch\u00e4ft entwickelt. Dies bedeutet, dass wir nun Standorte in Svendborg in D\u00e4nemark und in Hamburg in Deutschland haben. Unser neues Lager in Hamburg stellt sicher, dass wir eine breite Palette an Ankern, Ankerketten und Komponenten anbieten k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n<p>Als Lieferant f\u00fcr die maritime Branche durften wir im Laufe der Jahre viele erfreuliche und auch ungew\u00f6hnliche Erfahrungen machen.
